Sun Infonet & Friends of Shiva executes fest with Meyer Sound System

Friends of Shiva, the award-winning rental company based in East India, has taken a bold step in upgrading its sound system inventory with the addition of Meyer Sound’s PANTHER large-format linear line array loudspeakers and the 2100-LFC low-frequency control element. In their pursuit of cutting-edge audio technology, Friends of Shiva collaborated with Sun Infonet, Meyer Sound’s trusted distributor in Delhi, to integrate the PANTHER and 2100-LFC into their inventory. The first major deployment of the new system was at the Coca-Cola Festival 2023 Season 2, held in Kolkata in November. The star-studded event featured top performances from artists and bands including Amit Trivedi, Lakkhichhara, Antara Nandy, Sahatay and Dindun, Fossils & Friends, Euphoria, Coke Studio Bangla, and When Chai Met Toast.

For this high-profile festival, Friends of Shiva utilized a powerful setup consisting of 24 PANTHER loudspeakers, 16 2100-LFC control elements, and 2 Galileo GALAXY 816 Network Platforms. The result was a crystal-clear, dynamic, and impactful sound experience that captivated audiences throughout the event.
