Audio Design Ushers in a New Era of Live Sound Monitoring with Shure ADPSM and Sun Infonet
The audio industry changes every second, posing a challenge towards all the audio professionals to keep up with the changing dynamics. In such a scenario, audio professionals working on tight turnarounds and demanding artist schedules, need a smart and responsive gear. Now imagine, if such a useful gear comes backed by a legacy of innovation and hands-on training, the tool emerges as a gamechanger. That’s exactly what Audio Design, one of North India’s oldest and largest audio rental companies’ experiences, when they partnered with Sun Infonet to integrate the Shure ADPSM into their workflow.
From Analog Boards to Intelligent Wireless Systems
Founded in 1995 by Navneet Wadhwa, Audio Design has spent nearly three decades at the heart of India’s live sound industry. “Back then,” Navneet recalls, “we were carrying 15–20 monitors for a show. Now, it all fits in a pocket.” That evolution in scale and capability mirrors the transformation that Shure’s ADPSM brings to the table today - compact, intelligent, and powerful. The team was introduced to the ADPSM by Sun Infonet, Shure’s official distributor in India. With strong support from Mr. Neeraj Chandra, the transition from interest to implementation was smooth and timely. “We are proud to now own the ADPSM system,” says Navneet. “It’s incredibly intelligent - no more manual syncing of transmitter and receiver. Change a frequency here, and it automatically reflects on the receiver. It’s made our lives easier.”
Why Shure ADPSM is a Gamechanger
Sahej Wadhwa, the next-generation leader and Proprietor at Audio Design, couldn’t agree more. “If an artist is already performing, I can’t ask them to hand over their beltpack just to change frequencies,” he says. “With ADPSM, I can adjust frequency, volume, even settings, right from the transmitter. No other brand offers that.” The system’s unique capability to control the receiver remotely makes it a lifesaver in fast-moving live environments. With Shure’s ShowLink technology and the AD600 spectrum manager, frequency coordination becomes fully automated and stress-free. This not only saves time but ensures seamless, interference-free performances, exactly what top-tier artists and production teams demand.
The Sun Infonet Difference: Delivery, Training, Support
Great technology is one part of the story. What makes it successful on the ground is support, and that's where Sun Infonet has truly made a mark. From same-day deliveries to personalized training sessions, the Audio Design team was full of praise for the distributor's commitment.
“I just call Neeraj ji and tell him what I need,” says Sahej. “I don’t even have to explain much, he understands exactly what we require and sends it that very day. Whether it’s him, Kallol, or anyone from the Sun Infonet team, they’re always ready to help.”
When the system arrived at Audio Design’s warehouse, Kallol Nath, Senior Application Manager at Sun Infonet, was there on the ground for a full training session. “The boys here picked it up quickly,” he notes. “With ADPSM paired with AD600, they now have total control, from deploying frequencies to managing inventory wirelessly and in real time. It’s a big step forward for anyone in live production.”
A Milestone for the Region
By adopting the ADPSM system, Audio Design became one of the first companies in North India to integrate this level of monitoring intelligence into their workflow. It’s a proud moment not just for them, but for the entire regional live sound ecosystem. Their investment sets a new standard for how live events can be managed with speed, precision, and reliability. With Shure’s industry-leading innovation and Sun Infonet’s unwavering local support, Audio Design is now equipped to handle some of the most complex stage environments with ease. Their story is a testament to what happens when legacy, leadership, and modern technology come together.
As live sound continues to evolve in India, companies like Audio Design, backed by trusted partners like Sun Infonet and Shure, are leading the way toward smarter, faster, and more reliable productions.
